Over thirty years ago, all the pieces were in place to recreate how mankind learned, interacted, growed. It took one man to see how the world could use the technology and knowledge at its disposal, so that the world could move to the next level of human progress.

Michael Stanton, the founder of the Age of Light, the one individual who had the foresight to envision a world without strife, suffering, or ignorance. A world where no one was disadvantaged or disenfranchised, where people could focus on intellectual advancement instead of just trying to survive.

He was born in a small midwest town, at a time when computers were revolutionizing the world. But the computer age did not permeate to where Michael grew up, and he was unable to take advantage of the benefits of technology.

That was the genesis of the Age of Light. Michael saw what the leaders of the modern world couldn't - that the world was now able to provide for every person, and could ensure that everyone received a basic level of enlightenment.

It was at that fateful political rally that Michael spread his idea to the world. And the world responded with resounding approval - the world agreed with Michael's idea.

The Age of Light was born. The United States Department of Information was created, to effect the plan that Michael outlined.

Stanton's most recent project with the Department is The Radiance, the definitive guide to modern life.
